This personalised health and well-being coaching program has been specifically designed for Australian Military Veterans, recognising the unique challenges, experiences, and strengths within the Defence community. Whether you are transitioning out of service, adjusting to civilian life, or simply wanting to improve your overall health after a brief or extended period away from Defence, this program meets you where you are.

Led by me, Katie, a Registered Nutritionist with over 25 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, Public Health Advisor, and Nutritionist, This program provides practical, realistic and sustainable strategies to support long-term health and well-being.

Program Overview

This coaching program is designed to support you to set and achieve health and well-being goals.

Together, we will:

  • Identify your current health status, habits and challenges
  • Set realistic, meaningful and achievable goals
  • Develop a personalised nutrition, health and well-being plan that is tailored to your lifestyle
  • Build skills, confidence and consistency over time
  • Adjust strategies as your needs evolve

Nutrition

  • Building balanced and sustainable eating habits
  • Cutting through misinformation and confusion
  • Developing a healthy relationship with food

Sleep

  • Improving sleep quality and routines
  • Understanding the impact of sleep on physical and mental health

Stress Management

  • Recognising how stress can affect your diet, health and well-being.
  • Practical tools to manage and reduce  stress to improve your mental and physical health. 

Movement & Exercise

  • Incorporating realistic and enjoyable movement
  • Building strength, mobility and consistency
  • Supporting physical and mental health through activity

Social Connection

  • Addressing isolation and building support networks
  • Strengthening relationships and community connection

Understanding and Shaping Healthy Habits

  • Recognising how habits (alcohol, caffeine, smoking, screen time, etc) impact sleep, mood, and energy
  • Building awareness to support more balanced and mindful choices
  • Creating positive, sustainable and enjoyable routines
  • Gently removing unhelpful patterns
  • Developing consistency through small and manageable changes
